What in the world was that?

Ty wanted to hold his sister once more before going to bed one evening. As soon as I put her on his lap we both heard an explosion! Amazing.....that a noise like this can come from a sweet, beautiful, teeny-tiny, ASLEEP baby! We all got a good laugh!!!

Here are a few pictures from this morning of our precious princess. It's almost deja vu....If I didn't take these and sweet Laci wasn't lying on a pink blankie, I'd swear this was Ty! I'm still amazed how much she looks like he did when he was a baby!

Home....

We came home late Wednesday afternoon where we were greeted with a delicious meal Grammy prepared for us all and a huge threat of tornadoes. The sirens went off twice after we finished dinner and Jason and I were about ready to see if all six of us would fit into Ty's bathtub! Luckily, we just got a bad storm but I'll never forget her first night home! These are just a few pictures from family who visited right after we got home. Sweet Laci was greeted by many friends and family in those first few days at the hospital. (Thank you to all of you who took pictures for us!!) We were blessed to be surrounded by all our loved ones during her arrival and appreciate everyone taking time off to come see us and be apart of this glorious time!

The Lord has blessed us with another precious gift, Laci Jordyn Martin was born on Monday, May 5th, at 2:27 p.m. weighing in at 8 pounds and 20.25 inches long. These first moments are so indescribable and so different from those first moments with Ty but neither is more or less special - just special in their own way. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to explain exactly what and how I felt, only that it was simply heavenly, amazing, glorious and so much more! The Lord has moved me and warmed my heart yet once again. We are so thankful for this wonderful little lady and are all ready whole-heartily in love! These are just a few from those first few minutes....
