Part II of Jason's birthday was a trip to Stillwater to the Cowboy's Orange/White Spring Game. Jason and I had been discussing how we thought Ty would do at a football game. We did take Ty to a TU game before but some time had passed and we thought before we pack up the family and head to Norman, a "free" game and a short trip to Stillwater might tell us what we need to know. We got on the road late so Ty could nap, had a great lunch at Joe's and then headed to the game. As we entered the gates, big as Dallas, there were two Jupiter Jumps. We proceeded into the stadium and found us some seats. Ty sat for ummmm, maybe three or four minutes and then he and Dada were off to climb the bleachers! He wanted to go jump but they were already taking the inflatables down. He wasn't too upset, but was disappointed. Our suspicions were correct, he isn't quite ready for the games! So, we headed for a short walk around campus and finished with a drive looking at all the construction going on and Ty's already decided that he too wants to go to college, (Mommy go too - he says)! Even though we didn't make it through the game we all enjoyed our day out in Stillwater!

Ty's ready for baseball!
How about hockey, Mom?

Looks like Ty had a lot of fun, especially trying on the sports helmets.
Like father, like son...you all were braver than I was. I think Jason was probably 4 before he got to go to an OU game! Of course, at 8 or 9, Amy still couldn't last the entire game..."it's too hot!"
